Bergen Linen is a Hallak Company
Hallak Cleaners was born out of one man’s uncompromising dream of creating a dry cleaning service that would rise so far above the pervasive mediocrity in the industry as to make it virtually unrecognizable.
Over fifty years later, his sons (John Claude and Joseph, Jr.) continue Mr. Joseph Hallak, Sr.’s vision. Throughout the decades, Hallak has won numerous awards and honors for quality, service and constant innovation.
Originally, the couture cleaner had one location in Manhattan. While it is still there, the family introduced a Hackensack location as well. Bergen County houses a 23,000 square foot operation including the plant and administration office. The production plant is the winner of multiple industry awards for quality, innovation and design. In 2011, the Hallak Cleaners’ plant won the Grand Prize in a national plant design award. With the latest scanning and tracking technology, inventory is accurately managed throughout the production process.
Joe and John-Claude Hallak saw a need for new kind of linen provider. Thus, Bergen Linen was ‘born’. We are your local leading resource of linen rentals and sales including uniforms and more. (Hospitality bed linen rentals are also available.)
Both companies are always looking for new ways to evolve. Whether it be new machinery or more eco-friendly solvents, your fabric care is in the best of hands. The family (and teams) take their responsibility to both you and the environment very seriously.
