Fortunately, this year’s post is a lot more optimistic than 2020’s. And most of our Food and Beverage community in a much better place.

Both indoor and outdoor dining are back at full capacity. Bars are also safely welcoming back guests. Weddings and other special events can celebrate the right way. The transition was swift.

Some business owners found themselves scrambling to look for vendors, product and waitstaff. In fact, some are still seeking some of these important aspects of restaurant / catering life.  One thing you didn’t have to stress about was your linens.

Throughout all the ups and downs, Bergen Linen made it a point to keep our doors open. (At times, we were down to about three workers. But we made it work!) Now, our team is back in full force. They are working hard to keep up with restaurant industry’s demands. 

 

Last year, many of our community F&B friends did their part in serving the community. Alongside them, Bergen Linen supplied any and all kitchen linen essentials. With a drastically reduced staff (like you), it wasn’t easy. However, it was important.

Today, it is just as important to be there for all of you. What an exciting time! Our team is answering calls and emails –  from both old and new friends.

2021 Graduation Season

The 2021 graduation season is here!  In addition, there are now increased capacities for both indoor and outdoor events. This is even more reason to celebrate! (As we are sure, you are!)

Over these past years, the graduates have worked hard to get to this point. They have earned that party.

With indoor and outdoor event spaces loosening restrictions, you can expect an increase in events – and guest numbers. And that is a win-win for everyone.

From formal to rustic, there are many ways to welcome a graduate and its guests. Fortunately, Bergen Linen offers a wide range of event linen colors to choose from.

While some choose a color theme, others may elect to choose a specific theme – and build around it. For example, casino night is still a popular option.  Think…black, gold, glitz. (Plus, Bergen Linen’s sister company can remove any tricky stains on garments. When you wear white at an event, you should expect some ‘oops’ moments!)

Early 2021 Spring Check-In – New York and New Jersey area

Early 2021 spring check-in for all Bergen Linen’s local business friends.

While this spring certainly looks different, the Food and Beverage industry still faces challenging times.  With limited capacities, many restaurants and caterers are still struggling.  On a lighter note, many businesses found innovative ways to welcome guests back anyway they can.

Tents were erected. Heating lamps installed. Delivery service upgraded or introduced. Your dishes now available through GoldBelly.

Even If your venue is only providing take-out and/or delivery, there is still a need for aprons, bar mops, etc.  Bergen Linen is here for you. .  

Due to a reduced dinner crowd, Bergen Linen took into consideration restaurants’ new needs for small weekly deliveries. In fact, we introduced a Starter Package.  While it is customizable, it basically provides a weekly service of bar mops, aprons and floor mats.

New York and New Jersey Blanket Rentals.

Blanket rentals are Bergen Linen’s latest offerings. They are the perfect addition for your upcoming delivery – or schedule a stand-alone order.

During this last year, Bergen Linen faced challenging times with the rest of the Food and Beverage industry. We pivoted alongside all of our neighborhood friends. And looked for new ways to be there for you.

With nor and/or reduced indoor dining, there is very limited requests for tablecloth deliveries. However, it is important to mention that studies show diners equate table linens with a higher level of experience and food. On the fence? Consider a cloth napkin or placemat – and now blanket rentals.

For customers no longer using linens, we introduced the Starter Package. This is simply a quick weekly order for aprons, bar mops and floor mats. (This is a customizable package so as to fit your needs.)  Chef wear and uniform rentals are also available.  Both New York and New Jersey casual and formal restaurants love the ease in our uniform care.
