Throughout the lockdown, Bergen Linen has been right here with you.  And now with some ‘normalcy’ returning, we will be there for you.   Create  a safe space for guests. White, fresh linens on your table will provide a clean dining experience. If you have not used linens before, you may wish to reconsider adding this extra layer of protection. When socially distanced tables are not in use, try our custom (with your logo) “Reserved” tent cards to retain your ambiance – but still meet safety standards. In addition, we also offer linen placemats for venues that are not ready to jump into a full tablecloth experience.

Recent News! New Jersey Restaurants Reopening Announcement.

Earlier today, New Jersey restaurants reopening September 2020 was announced.  For many, this means a rush to prepare.

Throughout the lockdown, Bergen Linen has been here for you – and will continue to be.  As an essential service, we understood the importance of staying open.  We knew that soon enough we would be seeing your friendly faces again.

In the past, some casual restaurants did not use tablecloths. However, you will want to consider adding table linens or placemats. For customers, this acts as another level of security for your diners.  Additionally, guests equate table linens to a higher quality experience.

More formal restaurants tend to always use tablecloths. Do you have the inventory on hand or in need of an order? It’s not too late. Bergen Linen makes placing an order easy.

Bergen Linen now offers anti-viral fogging treatment.

While it may not be the norm, this July 2020 anti-viral fogging is a new service being offered – and an important one at that.

Over the last few months, the Food and Beverage industry certainly has seen some unprecedented lows.  The lockdowns came quick. The news changed even quicker. With the instability all around, New York and New Jersey did their best in providing safety protocols. June 2020 Restaurant Reopening

This month’s restaurant reopening will prove tricky for many. Bergen Linen is here for you.

June 2020’s Restaurant Reopening will mark a special time for many owners and teams.

In these last few months, some restaurants and caterers have completely shut their door. As we all tried to navigate through this pandemic, New York and New Jersey food and beverage industry professionals tried to find ways to keep their businesses open.  For some, it meant offering take-out and delivery.  Alternatively, others took the time to remain closed and prepare for their future.  In brief, there is no wrong or right way to handle such an unprecedented event.  You do your best – that’s all.  Now, allow us to help.

Despite all the ups-and-downs, Bergen Linen used these last few months in the most productive way possible.  Sadly, we had to temporarily lay many of our production workers off. With a reduced crew, the team updated our facilities, logistics, computer program and more.  At the same time, we continued to provide linen rentals to our local friends.

As you begin to open up, you and your team will have to transition to this ‘new normal’ including:

  • outdoor dining
  • limited capacity
  • use of face masks
  • socially distanced tables

Additionally, many dining establishments are considering reservations to alleviate wait times.  If you are planning on opening your restaurant or caterer (or continue to remain open), please know that Bergen Linen is here for you.  Linen rentals such as chef wear, uniforms, tablecloths, napkins, bar mops and more are available.  Your kitchen linen essentials are only a phone call away. March 27th, 2020 – Update

Our area has and will continue to face challenges – in all aspects.

From one local business to another, we understand you are faced with many uncertainties.
Although normal laundry operations have been suspended, we do have an abundance of inventory on our shelves. Napkins, tablecloths, aprons, bar mops & kitchen apparel – all remain available. Our facility will not be accepting any customers during this time for on-site pickup of product – but delivery remains available for those in our normal service areas.

For our current customers with wrapped product, we would like to schedule a pick-up in the near future.  During your pick-up, you would receive a receipt right then and there.  All product would then receive a fresh cleaning.  When you are ready to re-open, simply let us know.  Bergen Linen would then return the equivalent of those items picked up at no additional cost.  This way, when you re-open your team has safe, fresh clean linens to welcome your guests properly.

If you plan on remaining open for pick-up and delivery orders, please let us know if you require our services for aprons, chef wear, uniforms, bar mops, etc. Email orders@bergenlinen.com or call (800) 789-8115. Both are being monitored regularly and you will back from a team member in a timely manner.

Bergen Linen remains hopeful in a time of such uncertainty.  We believe that we can navigate these trying  times together.
