New York and New Jersey Blanket Rentals

Blanket rentals are Bergen Linen’s latest offerings. They are the perfect addition for your upcoming delivery – or schedule a stand-alone order.

During this last year, Bergen Linen faced challenging times with the rest of the Food and Beverage industry. We pivoted alongside all of our neighborhood friends. And looked for new ways to be there for you.

With nor and/or reduced indoor dining, there is very limited requests for tablecloth deliveries. However, it is important to mention that studies show diners equate table linens with a higher level of experience and food. On the fence? Consider a cloth napkin or placemat – and now blanket rentals.

For customers no longer using linens, we introduced the Starter Package. This is simply a quick weekly order for aprons, bar mops and floor mats. (This is a customizable package so as to fit your needs.)  Chef wear and uniform rentals are also available.  Both New York and New Jersey casual and formal restaurants love the ease in our uniform care. Sanitization Station Rentals

Bergen Linen offerings now include sanitization station rentals.  If 2020 showed us anything, it showed us the importance of adapting.  While it has not been a great year, we have hope for 2021.

In the meantime, Bergen Linen has taken time to look into additional rentals to help our restaurant and catering friends in New York and New Jersey.   Items such as:

• linen placemats
• sanitization stations
• disposable masks
• instructional floor mats
• custom “Reserved” signs

During 2020, you may have looked for ways to save money. However, saving money does not have to mean skimping on safety or the details.  In fact, this is the time to take those extra steps to stand apart from the crowd.

New rules and regulations regarding indoor dining capacity has certainly changed how all of us do business.  At times, it meant no business – and temporary standstills. Other times, it meant changing the way we service our clientele and community.

Thanksgiving Day 2020

With Thanksgiving being tomorrow, we thought it was the perfect time to say our thanks.

You have heard it before, but we have to say it again – 2020 has been a tough year. Like you, Bergen Linen is very appreciative to be able to have welcomed back both clients and our team back. While we are not sure what the next few months will look like, we do know that we will make it through.

Sadly, some of our industry friends were not able to sustain their business.  Then, there were other companies that were able to survive.  However, it became clear that this wasn’t enough.

During the initial stages of the lockdown, restaurants were able to reopen with takeout. This meant that some had to begin a delivery and/or takeout service. Others had to fine tune their system in place.  As time passed, tents would be erected and additional arrangements would be made.

Like you, Bergen Linen adapted as well -and will continue to.  Our team is always looking for new ways to improve our services and add products to enhance our relationship with you. We are not simply your linen provider. We are your partner in this ever-changing climate.

When keeping your guests (and team) safe, there are some necessary and mandated safety protocols.  Although tablecloths are not mandatory, please note that studies show guests equate linens with a higher level of service. In addition, they provide an extra level of protection.  If you choose not to have a full tablecloth, you may want consider line placemats.

With a smaller team, you may have changed how you handle uniforms.  Leaving apparel care to the professionals can be a hygienic and affordable option.  Some restaurants have been leaving uniform cleaning up to the employees. How can you be assured that they are properly (or routinely) being cleaned?

Local restaurants planning for the winter will include possible extended tent seating, portable heaters, etc.  With cases still rising, it seems that indoor dining will still be at reduced capacity.  It’s time to be creative.

October 2020 Brunch Specials

October 2020 Brunch Specials are up! It’s time to start dressing up your brunch properly.

Indoor dining is limited. Outdoor dining requires some extra effort. And gatherings are greatly smaller. However, you are doing your best. Your team has adapted to keeping your guests safe – and still happy.
